This is the demo site for PubKit, a MODx snippet providing tools around which a front-end document creation and management system can be built. Full technical details are available on the Pogwatch site.
Currently, the site features three MODx resource-based sections (News, Diary and the Blog), and two based on custom tables (Orchestra and PTA). The PHP classes, auxiliary snippets, chunks and template files used to produce these are included in the PubKit download package.
Pog Academy is a fictional establishment peopled entirely by spurious individuals, many of whom have lost touch with reality. The headmistress, Ms Felicity Boffleworth, insists, however, that she is more real than many of those reading this page. Though called an Academy, the board of governors has asked us to make it clear that the name has nothing whatsoever to do with the current (May 2010) changes taking place in Great Britain's schools, not indeed with the previous government's educational policy. Pog Academy was founded under that name in the 14th century by the Venerable Pog, a secular Buddhist crotchet-maker, with the aim of inspiring young people to fulfil their potential, under the motto "Pigs may fly!"
